spacer dimension?

So i need to punch a couple holes in my skid plate for air flow, and i was gonna use a hole saw, then use the piece that comes out as a top plate spacer. (Its 3/16 thick) i just need to know what size hole saw to use. Also i can expect about 3/8" lift right? Dont u pretty much double the spacer thickness to determine lift?

Just hated to throw away somethin i might could use. And didnt need much lift in the front since im at 1.75 already and about 2" in the rear. Hated to spend any money on less than 1/2" of lift
