Quick question: can I install a U-bolt flip kit buy simply removing and replacing the u-bolts? Or will I need to remove tire, front and rear leaf bolts, etc etc?

It will be a world easier if you remove the tire, but other than that it is simple as swapping the old u bolts and plates with the new ones. Just make sure you have bump stops compatible with the new plates.

Can anyone else corroborate this? Not that I don't trust Juan, I just want to make sure nothing will shift while I have those bolts removed.

The center pin and the hangar for the leaf springs will keep the axle etc aligned. If you are worried, do one side at a time.

Can't say that it was fun because you have to tighten the flip kit nuts and bolts by hand..tedious..
