Coilover Kits vs. "DIY" Suspensions

    We've got similar terrain out here (minus the water LOL). Sounds like you just need a rebuild with softer slow speed compression while keeping the high speed compression where it's at if you like that and don't have issues bottoming out. That should smooth out the small stuff as long as you don't have a ton of preload which will also make a harsh ride on the small bumps.

    So you can try and find a shop in your area, learn how to do it yourself or ship off and be without the truck for a week or two? My rebuild/revalve was $150 a shock (non-resi) and was done locally at SDHQ. I know DSM does it AND can add the CDC to them as well but you would be paying for shipping.......$25-50 each way?
