Id reccomend a bilstein/eibach front lift. They have good travel and dont bite the wallet as bad as other options. For control arms, Id say Light Racing because they are adjustable and one of the cheaper options. For the rear, all pro expedition if you carry heavy loads or standard if you dont, and bilstein 5125 or 5150s. These shocks will accommodate the amount of lift the all pros give you, and will allow for greater travel than 5100s. Hope this was helpful.

I have Dakars and love them. Ride great.

I have SPC (Light Racing) UCAs because they were on the less expensive side. I hear uniballs pit and require a lot more maintenance as well. I like the SPCs because they have a lot of settings you can adjust.

Maybe you should research it first. There are many threads on here with people who have Bilstein lifts and they have great usability. You could also check out the Old Man Emu lifts. Dakars have great flex, but the OME shocks really limit the travel.

How do you like the Light Racing? Are they strong enough for heavy offroading?

I haven't honestly thought about Fox due to the great Icon customer service through the forums, but I will definitely look into this package. Thanks!

I agree that you will want to later upgrade to better shocks, because bilsteins are monotube IIRC and could be pretty stiff. I think that 2.5s would be good for most trails. The external reservoir would most likely get you good travel.

I'm ready to shell out $3300 for the FOX ultimate suspension.

Any direction to find it for less is appreciated.

We can certainly get that kit for you, or put something together for you that is basically the same or changed up a bit if desired.
