    I have right over 2.5" in the front and gained 1" in the rear.

    The prototype set I am on has a threaded shock body, the production units will have pre cut grooves like the 5100s and offer the same height levels per application.

    These are PROTOTYPE shocks pictured below and are not what the production units will look like

    Nope, they are the Bilstein 5160 RR application specific rear shocks. Bilstein is expanding their 5160 application list, but these are already available for the 05+ Tacoma.

    so how is the ride???

    I like the idea of a threaded shock body over the grooves. Id like a full 3" and wouldnt be able to get that with these. What are the springs being used and what spring rate? How is the ride going to change per setting?

    The production models will not have a threaded body, they will have preset snap groove rings like the 5100s - offering the same height levels of 0", .85", 1.75" and 2.5"

    Spring rates are TBD.
