Ive been talking with Bilstein for about a year and a half now. These are very simialar to whats on the Baja TX, but built to Bilstien specs and not Toyota.

Full writeup and test results coming soon!

I think they already let toyota do (pay for) all the R&D and testing for them ;)

Are they going to be adjustable like the 5100's or are they going to be like the Baja's and side specific fronts?
Either way sounds like a great alternative to the Baja/Pro setup. May have to buy some of these when they come out; can't wait!

They will be adjustable, but its a different collar design compared to the 5100. I will have a full review done after the Dec 6 MORE race where I will be testing a set on my 06 tundra on the brutal barstow course. Many new applications coming soon.

Are the Bilstein specs generally better than those of Toyota?

Bilstien settings are always a bit more performance oriented in my experience. Similar to when you compare the TRD Bilstein shocks to Bilstein HD shocks.

I have a set of the Bilstein coil overs on my 06 Tundra and they are very nice. The truck stays on a ranch and gets used hard. Every one that rides with me comments on the smooth ride. They are also durable! I have had them on since last March with no maintenance issues. I would recommend them to everyone!

Youve got the 5100's, Ive got the same setup and its great! Much improved over stock. Im really excited to see how these compare to the 5100, stock, and 2.5" kits from ICON, Fox, King etc. This will be the largest bolt on coilover on the market

So as of today my truck is now in the hands of the team @ Bilstein, testing spring & valving rates.

Part numbers have been released to vendors, but the shocks will not be available until the end of January, anyone offering them for sale doesnt have them.

Should have the truck back Friday, and will be testing at the MORE 200 race this weekend in Barstow, CA. Next week I will post my initial impressions - I have high expectations for these!!
