i currently have my OR coils on them set at 1.75", im gonna get some coils of a sr5 (4th gen 4 runner but they are the same right? i guess that is an additional question) so i was gonna either preload the base springs to 2.5 or leave them at 1.75 and get a 3/8" top plate spacer. my question is, for those of u with either set up and or both set ups, which will ride better? i assumed that the least amount of preload would. and will i need longer studs for the 3/8" spacer? if so would a 1/4" spacer work with factory studs, as this may also be an option.

will the stock coils at 2.5 be about the same ride as OR at 1.75?

Im gonna get ome 881s with 5100s and a new dekar leaf pak, if I need more in the back gonna get a 1inch leaf block or 1 inch lift shackles. But im a 1st gen.

And the more you bump your 5100s up the harsher it will ride, but if you get ome coils you cant bump the 5100s up. Its a loose loose situation for me, id get the correct coils for ur truck and aal if ur leafs aren't sagging, if you want more I don't think a 1inch spacer will hurt anything.

EDIT: Woops, just noticed you are a prerunner. Id get what you think is best. All the things I just stated is what I think will do a 4x4 good. Or get some cash and go LT.
