    I can't find a statement which I was told a while back for the life of me in any thread.

    Complete the sentence:

    For every .5" of ___________ travel you gain 1" of overall suspension travel.

    Probably track width. Lifting the truck will only yield so much at one point or another.

    No. Lift has nothing to do with the travel, only the stiffness of the ride.

    No, it's not that.

    You are close but I don't think that's it. I am thinking it's shock travel, but I have a feeling that's wrong too. I was also thinking, control arm travel, or hub travel.
