Hey guys and gals.. I have a 2002 tacoma 3.4l Xtra cab limited with trd Off road package. Bought her a year ago. With 101000 miles on her. As u can imagine suspension all around is tired.. ordering the toytec ultimate lift kit for her with the lr uca's.. I have about 2000 bux to spend on my suspension.. do u all think this a good path to go. Or would u recommend something else. I do more on road driving than off. So ride comfort is important. I've done tons of reading on the site. seems like these bilstiens and ome is what most do. Any input would be awesome.. thanks for your time

Check out the Toytec Boss lift

I just recently got the Boss kit with LR UCA's and OME Dakars in the rear and it's a super comfy ride

Considered the OME w/spacers but for about the same price the Boss lift will give you a 100% suspension lift and a better ride

Called a bunch of offroad stores around Colorado and it's the most popular lift they install on Tacomas out here

If you have the 2k to spend on just suspension go with like and Icon stage 2 im pretty sure its under 2k and its a full suspension
would recommend Icon king or Fox if you have the money but if not the ultimate is a good budget suspension

Thanks! Not yet, will probably make one soon. And introduce myself somewhere. I'm relatively new here.

Edit: FYI I also saw you posting in Pliny's build thread. He's a good buddy of mine from college. I partially blame the way my truck looks right now on him...

You should definitely make a build thread! Yeah, I'm trying to see if making my own skid plates will save me enough money to justify building them myself

The add a leafs didn't come with u bolts. Or the shims that go under them. So I guess I'm asking if I need to order these two thing separate? The site says 7.5 inch ubolts are good for the aal. And are the shims not needed is this why they were not included with the ulk?
