Besides strength and the possibility of a second shock what do the TC LCA's give you?

    Thanks

If you get the race version, they add uniballs instead of ball joints. Which gives you a little more articulation up front.

I just can't seem to justify the expense on a mid travel when their are other mods I think I will utilize more for the $...

If you are looking for another option for LCAs we also offer an OEM width lower control arm. Our arms use a uniball that is mounted in the arm rather than a block that bolts to the spindle to gain additional ground clearance. Our arms are also fitted with hydraulic bump stop mounts to allow for optional hydraulic bump stops to be mounted if desired. We use delrin inner bushings which allow the arm to pivot more freely than the factory 1 piece injected bushing design. The delrin bushings allow feature grease fittings which allow them to be easily serviced. Our arms also do not require a 1.25" spacer as the TC ones.

Here are a few images of our OEM width 05+ Tacoma lower control arms.

My opinion, I'm saving for Dirty King vs TC. Touchly made and look great. don't have to buy a skid to go under them either. Plus i like the black anodized look.

TC Non race/Standard version also use Uniballs - just requires the use of an adapter instead of having them built into the LCA. As Dirt king described it allows for more ground clearance.

I see DK uses the full stock LBJ adapter with stops whereas TC requires you to cut the stops off and radius the knub.

Not sure if that has anything to do with the requirement of wheel spacers/different BS or possible limited steering travel. Maybe they can chime in, I'd like to learn more about the engineering that went into these things. Both companies work is amazing IMO, From what I've read about DK and my experience with TC you can't go wrong with either.

For the money spent on stock width lowers you can go +2 damn near, just sell your mid travel stuff to fund new coil overs.
