I just installed a similar setup on my 2014. I'm really happy with my Icons. Customer support is top notch which is huge plus for me.

I added an 1/8" spacer to adjust for the Taco lean on the drivers side. This gave me pretty much even amount of lift in the front. Having a big pair of channel locks to bend the sheetmetal for UCA bolt removal clearance will be a big help.

Thats what I try to do on my 05. But if your adjusting your coilovers to 2-1/2" of lift or anything over, then you almost have to max out the CO to get that extra 1/4" lift on the drivers side. Then they sag. From my experience, the spacer this time around gave me much more consistent lift between the 2 sides.

I have mine cranked up to 3" and adjusted to make up for the sag a few times over the last 10K miles. Sometimes I wonder how the CO's will preform set a 2" of preload.

For the OP you are going to really enjoy your set up turns the truck into a totally different animal. Please keep us updated!

I have the Icon 2.0 Resi shocks for the rear as well, along with the 3 leaf progressive springs from Icon. Nothing is installed yet, as I can't decide on what front shocks to go with up here in the salty wintery New England. I want the 2.5 Extended front coilovers but don't want to ruin them in this area.

Give em a call and ask them about the coating. That would be a concern for me too. We had some monster rain storms here and I see some minor rust build up my bumps. Most likely from bump screw that leaked onto the shaft. But here I'd just go under my truck and polish it away (sounds outta context I know). Prob not gonna work for coilovers especially back east.

I just got a response back from Icon stating they hold up as well as anything out there. But did also say they make neoprene socks for them to help with that. I don't know about you but these shocks are beefy and nice looking, why would anyone want to cover them up with neoprene socks? I don't know it's a lot of money to have the threads on them get all rusty and and hard to adjust.

maybe socks for the winter time and naked for the summer........... sounds like its worth it to spend the extra dough on the coating for sure. They have been great to deal with from my point of view. If your the original owners, Icon typically will do everything within reason to help you out. I talked to them at SEMA and over the phone on several issues and have walked away a happy camper.

The guy at Icon I just talked to stated that IVD coating process was stopped about 5 months ago due to it not selling. But stated CAD plating has improved any rusting issues.
