Does anyone ever offer deals on OME kits...or at least run free shipping? I have been waiting for quite a while for a deal to pop up but have seen nothing.

also, does anyone have any idea when toyota will figure out the fix for the leaf spring recall? that is kind of my basis on whether im getting dakars or not....

also debating on which spring rate to get... DC long bed, aluminum front bumper, plans for sliders in future....885's or 887?

90000 or 900021 shocks....can anyone actually tell a difference between the two?

    please help a brother out

Since you have an aluminum front bumper i'd go 887's. 887's and 885's are the same spring rate just 887's are taller. Normally people with steel front bumpers go with 886's because those have the higher spring rate but with aluminum I don't think you need to. I don't know anything about OME shocks but I love my Dakars. I got them through Wheelers, great guys. As far as deals go Im not sure you'll find any coming up, around christmas time they had something going on I believe.

    hi

are the dakars real stiff or do they eventually settle?
i was hoping somebody might have a sale sooner...i cant wait till xmas again lol

    wanting 2.5 - 3
enough so that the plate bumper doesnt look ridiculous on it.
would you recommend waiting for leaf recall replacement and adding a leaf to it or getting dakar?

I just put in King coil over but had bilstein shocks set at 1.75 on stock coils. My Dakars have settled but they aren't buttery smooth unless you have a few hundred pounds in the back. They are meant to haul a lot of weight, so they are perfect for me when I go camping.
