I need a solution for my sagging rear end. I've got 5100s up front with stock coils, and a cap and sleeping platform in back. The rear sags about 1-2" below the front. I put camping gear and such in the back when I'm going on trips, so I'm estimating a 500lb load or so. I want to bring the truck back to the stock rake without extra gear in back.

I'm thinking about Dakars but I'm wondering if they'll be too much lift in back. Also concerned with potential driveline vibration and additional complications. Has anybody run the Dakars without much lift up front? Would y'all have a better idea for me?

Your truck would look like a drag car:

Hahaha okay that's what I was wondering. You're not worried about putting the AAL along with potentially worn springs? Would there be a replacement pack to do the job?

Without a doubt, replacing the OEM junk leafs will be the best option. Some people on here recommend or have gotten their leafs re-arched. Might be something to look into.

Unless I am missing something, they only have one pack now specifically listed as "Wheeler's" in both the first and 2nd gen sections.

I have the shitty 3 leafs and a cap, no lift in the front. After about a year my rear sagged to the point that my leafs were flat and the truck was almost leveled. Firestone Ride Rite air bags brought me back to stock height. If I need to load up the bed I just pump more air into them. Might be worth looking into.
