2015 DCSB TRDSport with 4leaf tow package. Im thinking about ordering this kit...
    https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/05-and-up-tacoma/bilstein-adjustable-lift-kit-with-5100-shocks/

Seems like a decent price. I'll be getting the AAL for the rear and hoping this works well with the extra rear leaf springs I already have due to the tow package? Also getting the diff drop with the kit. So my questions are...

    1. Has anyone used this kit with/without the additional top spacers and what were the results? The site says a double cab truck may or may not need the spacers to acheive a level lift (approx. 3" front 2" rear)

    2. Will this kit allow for a proper alignment without buying UCA's? (I plan to pick these up down the road)

    3. How will a 2" lift in the rear effect my already shuddering drivetrain? I have searched around for info on carrier bearing drops and different degree shims and it seems there is much conflicting info.

Thanks for your time TW! With this lift will come a build thread!!

I guess another question would be does anyone know from experience the ride quality between a Tow Package with an AAL vs a 2" block in the rear?

Good kit and don't do the diff drop kit. Do some searching thru the 2nd gen sections and search for diff drop. There is way more evidence supporting that it's not worth it.

Yea through some research I realized this today. Looks like a 3 degree shim on the rear axle will solve any lift issues especially if I get the UCAs. So now the big question is... drum roll... Eibachs or OME 885s (DCSB)... which are gonna ride better for a 90% street 10% trail truck? Anyone?

It looks like many here prefer the OME 885 springs. So my shopping list as of now goes something like this..

    Headstrong kit with 885s

Couldnt get any easier.. 2.5-2.75 lift in the front.. 1.5-1.75 lift in the rear. Sounds perfect to me. Hoping I can run big enough tires to make the truck look good with some wheel spacers and keep my stock sport rims.

Oh, hmm. Perhaps someone will chime in here with more experience. I'm ordering my headstrong kit in the next week or two. I'm only aiming for 2.5" until I do UCA's down the line. I don't want to push it and have to shell out $400 more to safely get that last .5" of lift. I too have a double cab short bed.

Just curious how the kit worked, I have a 2015 trd off road with tow package. What size tires can you run?
