This may be a dumb question - however,
does it matter if the reservoir gets mounted toward the front or back on the frame on the shock install? i know the hole needs to be drilled for the bracket but just wanted to make sure what the better option was in this application. (2014 Tacoma)
    Thank you

I'm not an expert but I don't think it matters as long as the line connecting the res to the shock isn't stretched/crimped/etc. Most I've seen have the res behind the shock toward the rear of the truck though.

Youll find they have a bit of a natural orientation once you install the shock.

For mine its basically driver side rear the reservoir is towards the front. The passenger side is towards the rear. Has to do with how the shocks are laid out.
