5100 885 or 886?

    got an 08 dc sport and i just installed the 5100 1.75 set up at front and they ride really stiff. i was thinking if i install the ome coils on my 5100 set at stock will it ride better? how much lift will i get? i just want it leveled and less stiffer. and which one 885 or 886? thanks

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    You would want the 885's. Being as they are a 590# spring rate, the ride may be the same, but they would give more lift. The 886's are only for use with a bumper and/or winch.

    Stock spring rate is 540 lbs-in. OME 885's are 590#, the coils for the Toytec CO Kit are 600#. Being as your 5100's were useing stock springs preloaded .875" (1.75" lift), your spring rate you have now is around 575 lbs-in. The more the spring rate, the stiffer the ride will be. SO, If your looking to have a softer ride, your gonna want a softer spring, which also means your truck will be lower.

    LOL. Trust me I want a lift with a cushy ride as well. The only way to do it though it to either get spindles or a drop down bracket lift.

    In my opinion RCD makes the best drop down braket lift.
