I installed my lift about a month ago after way-too-many hours of TW research. The kit I settled on wasn't an exact match of parts or settings I remember reading about or seeing pics of, so I thought I'd post a review/pics in case someone down the road is considering the same configuration I ended up with.

Short story is I am very happy with the results. The ride is much, much better - much more stable in corners and hard braking, and much smoother off-road. If the front eventually settles a little that would be fine, but if not I still like the new look. See attached for pics of 1) stock 2) new tires pre-lift and 3) post-lift.

Long story and specs: My 2013 DCSB Sport is my DD, >95% on-road, occasionally a small amount of weight in the bed and rarely towing. No rock climbing, just dirt and mud trails when I am off-road. The stock ride was okay, but always felt a little "squishy" to me. Reminded me a little of a late 90's F150 I owned a while back. I wanted to make it stiffer but not too harsh. My truck is totally stock up front with no added aftermarket weight.

I had previously upgraded the tires and stuck with the stock size (265/65/17) so that my MPG's wouldn't suffer on my long commute. My #1 goal was to improve the ride, and I only wanted around 1.5" of lift up front. I wanted to keep a small amount of rake for the times I do have some weight in the bed. I have the TSB "lift" in the rear already, so I had considered only lifting the front but I was afraid the Eibachs would give it a "bro lean" (IMO I was right).

So for all of these reasons, I settled on a mostly-leveling kit - the "Toytec Bilstien Adjustable" with 1.6" Eibach coils and 5100's set at 0 up front, 1/4" drivers-side spacer to correct the lean, and new 5100's in the rear with a 1" block just to keep a little rake.

I expected 1.6" of lift front passenger and 1.85" front driver, but I got more than I expected: 1.75" FP and 2 full inches FD. Other TW folks have said that it might settle over time, but after a month it hasn't dropped a bit. The rear lifted exactly 1" as you would expect with blocks. To me it looks almost exactly level.

I like it and that's all that matters. :)

That looks awesome, definitely helps me with ideas. Any additional pics? Did the blocks require longer u-bolts?

Yes, and longer u-bolts come with the kit. Attached is a shot in the same location and stance as the pre-lift pic for comparison.

anyone else running this kit? i bought the same kit but with an AAL. I thought I was going to achieve 3 inches having the shock set to 0 and didnt realize the kit came with the 1.6 coils. i called toytec and they told me since i have a 2nd gen reg cab that i could put the c clip setting on the 2nd notch and will be fine. he said that should put me right at 3 inches or so. anybody else running the 1.6 coils on 5100s at this setting? pictures would be great! im lifting it next friday so looking to see which way i should go with this

Nice...I'm looking at same kit...just wondering if the 2" add a leaf would give it the same look instead of the block...great looking truck !
