I have been moddin trucks and jeeps my whole life, but as I get older they get less and less extreme. From one ton Jeeps on 40's to lifted 3/4 ton diesels on 37's. Some how I find myself with a 2015 pre-runner double cab.

I have been leaning towards a spindle lift, but I have concerns with being lifted to high (Can't believe I am saying this). and the offset differences between front and rear width.

Now I am looking into adjustable shocks and springs, but I really don't want to do aftermarket control arms. So what is the magic number before needing them? Which springs should I get with 5100's

Looking to run 285/70/17 or 255/85/16. Not opposed to running 265/75/16. Also not opposed to spacers or buying new wheels. I just don't want the front sticking out more than the rear or having to hack up all the plastic fenders. Some trimming is excepted. Help me choose, this is my daily driver so I would like the best riding handling set-up possible.

I'd still say spindle lift just because it keeps all the factory geometry. It's only 4 in. Lift in the front which really doesn't look that much higher than a 3in. Lift. And as far as the front wheels being wider than the rear, you can use wheel spacers on the back to even it out.

But honestly man, it's your truck and your money, spend it how you like.
