I mounted 265/75r16 Cooper AT3's on my truck a few months ago only to find that they rub. As its also time to replace my shocks and struts I've decided I might as well put a small lift on as well.

I've decided to go with 5100's and, most likely, an Icon 1.5" aal.

So here's my question; does it make sense to set the front to 1.75" and have the 1.5" aal in the rear?

I'd like to maintain somewhat of a factory rake

That is exactly what I am exploring right now. I have the TRD Pro with the 1.75 in the front already and I really do not like how saggy the rear end is (I'm a lil bit hard on it). With 300 pounds of sand in the rear end for the winter the nose was pointing up in the air. It looked like a dog dragging its butt on the carpet. I am currently looking at the Icon 1.5" AAL (along with some King hydraulic bump stops). From what I have read this does not require a carrier drop bracket. Anyone able to confirm this? As for your specific situation, if you look up the back spacing on the TRD wheels and see if it matches yours you will have your answer. I currently run 265/75r16 BFG-ATs with no rubbing.

I'll have yo check the back spacing on the racelines I have. I think I'm going to do a 3" toytec lift. I know I need new shocks in the rear and figure while it's apart I might as well do the whole thing and have some fun with it lol
