I recently purchased a set of front and rear Bilstein 5100s. I was wondering whether I will need AALs with the 5100s install. This is my first time doing a lift kit so want to make sure I do it right the first time.

The 5100 in the rear will not add any lift. By going with an AAL, you can raise it to your desire depending on which AAL you end up with. To answer your question on whether you need it or not, it will depend on how much lift you are bringing up the front and how much you are bringing up the rear. If no lift is wanted for the rear, then you do not need an AAL for your install.
