I just had my new lift installed. 884 with 5100 and 1 1/2 rear block. I am getting a noise that is most prominent between 35 and 50. I don't know if it is a vibration or what. It is in and out every 1 to 2 seconds, WAA...WAA...WAA. Please do not laugh that is the best description I can give. Any ideas? I can not really tell where it is coming from either. Thanks for any help

Did you get an alignment yet?

Thanks I was reading that earlier this morning. I have reached out to my dealer to see their response. I am unable to do this work myself and really do not have any additional money to spend right now. That looks like an extensive repair.

Ok it is looking like I either need to lower truck down or go with either a Camber Bearing drop or ECGS bushing. Any input or help would greatly be appreciated

I run 5100s 885x and 1.5" in the rear and don't have any noise? Does it go away when you put it in 4x4?

No need to lower it...it's not that high :)

What she said. I had my local shop do mine and it cost me about $200. I think it's a pretty straight forward install I just didn't have the time to do it myself.

I had been running mine for about a month before I replaced the bushing (probably 3,000miles) and the shop said that there were no signs of damage of any kind. If you don't have the cash right now you can probably wait a bit to do it. As long as the vibration isn't driving you nuts :annoyed: It drove me crazy!

I was looking at the front of the truck yesterday and saw my front tires are like \ / if they did not do another alignment after going back and adding the top plate spacers is it possible this could be causing the noise?

afer adding the spacers an alignment should have been done, but I think the source of the noise is the bearing, considering it goes away in 4WD

X2 on the needle bearing.. if u can change a cv axle u can install the bushing. I had same vibe/sound and the bushing cleared it all up
