3 " lift help

Ok I have been wanting to lift my 09 taco for a while but i don't quite understand everything, but i want to do it right!!!!!

1. If i do a 3" lift will i need to get a re gear?
2. Will i need to get new uca's?
3. Will i need a diff drop?

what is the lift kit that you recommend?
any other suggestions?

#1) regearing depends on tire size, not lift. w/ a 3" lift u can run 33's and u dont need a regear for them
#2) UCA's will help get the alignment back into original specs
#3) u dont have to have a diff drop either, but it will relieve the angles of the cv's and kee tem working longer. most people get a diff drop w/ 3" lifts

nope. its what i'm running along w/ many people and there's no eed to regear. most people regear once they get around the 35" range

I would suggest getting new coilovers and UCAs if you have got the money. Fox or SAW or King make some awesome coilovers. Camburg or TotalChaos are ideal for UCAs. If you are planning on the lift go ahead and do it right the first time. I've got the spacer lift on mine and I wish I would have just save the extra money. Especially since I like to use mine as much as I can offroad.

My Kit that I am in the market for:
Fox Coilovers w/ Resevior
Camburg UCAs
Deaver Replacement leaf Pack or add a leaf 3pack
With Fox rear Resi Shocks

This would be the best performance and ride for you. You will enjoy this yes. This is good.

And will not have to regear with that size tires. Im running 285/70/17 KM2s with no probs.

it's like a 1" thick washer that your diff bolts go through, bringing it down a bit.
