3in body lift.please help

    i put a 3in body on my truck about a year ago and now i just noticed that when i put the tailgate down it hits the plastic piece on a bumper and is scratching my bumper. has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?ideas? its a 01 trd ext cab.

    take if to the dealer it's a common problem

    are the tailgate cables still in good condition? Maybe one's broke, or they've stretched? Or maybe the body lift spacers are deteriorating if they are just a poly material?

    A few bolts are different.
    or maybe your body is deteriorating around the spacers????

    its like slanted slitly back when u look at it.i looked at the spacers and they r fine.also the plastic cover on top curls up under thr tailgate so when u put it down it hits it and pushes up in the middel also.
