Which Lift to get?

ok i need some advice for lifting my 09 tacoma.
Im planning on buying 34” tires to put on it and i need to know what type of lift i should get???
it is a 2WD double cab pre runner

I really want to lift it at least 6 inches
I dont know whether i should get a 3” suspension lift and a 3” body lift
OR
If i should just get a 6” suspension lift kit
i think the suspension lifts look better than the body lifts
i just dont know what kind of 6” suspension lift kit to get
My truck is 2WD and i wont be going off road too much
the lift will mainly be for looks and tire clearance
please post any links for 6” suspension lifts kits that will work for my truck or post any 3" suspension lifts and 3" body lifts that will work
Which will be less expensive and which will be easier to install??

thanks

If your gonna go 6" just go suspension drop bracket... ecspecially since it's just for looks with your 2WD. It will come out to almost the same price and they are equally a bitch to install! I'd recommend just letting a shop do it all so you have no worries.

I DO NOT think you should a body lift, I've seen them fail in the worst way possible. Just go with the 6" suspension lift.

well since you are 2WD also remember you can do a 4 inch spindle lift added with a coilover lift you can easily attain a quality six inch total lift.

a 6 inch suspension lift utilizes a drop bracket to hold all of the suspension components... look up fabtech and pro comp. They can get quite pricey as well.

alright well it looks like im gonna just start out with a 3" suspension lift since i just spent like 4 grand on other mods.
Maybe later on when i get some more money i might get it lifted higher but for now im gonna stick with just 3"

Only if he goes with spindles. If he goes with the Fabtech or Procomp lifts, there is indeed cutting.
