Lift Help

I am a newbie to Tacoma ownership and need a little help. I would like to add a 3 inch lift and fill the gap with bigger wheels and tires. Can anyone steer me in the right direction with the lift part of the mod. I dont want to spend a ton of money and I want to keep the truck riding as good as stock. Thanks.

the whole kit would be good, but coilover are great since you can adjust the front height. Listen to Timmer, he knows what he is talking about.

 

Are you talkin about the lift spring and shock assemblies. I am a newbie so I want to be sure. Thanks for your patience. OME has it listed as two seperate items.

 

OME is good for the lift aspect but if you have a brand new truck, I would not go with OME setup. I did with only 1,500 miles on my truck and the ride was terrible. Yes, worse than stock. I sold shortly after. But if you have a truck with a few miles on it, the ride might not seem so bad.

 

I have the toytec ultm Lift kit it came with every thing you'll need then I added the Total Chaos ucas I the ride is just as good if not better than stock.

 

you have alot of options, it all depends on your budget, how much do you have in mind so we can help you out more.

 

I would like to keep it around $1000 if possible. A little more wouldn't break the bank.

 

OME coils and shocks would probably be your best bet. And any brand of add-a-leafs in the back.
