tacoma broke :(!!

    I broke the back right blisten shock on my tacoma, i plan on fixing it myself, am i going to need a shock compressor to install the shock? and how hard of a fix do yall think this is going to be?

    I don't think you need a shock compressor for the rear.

    i broke it off roading i ran across a ditch in the woods and when i stepped into my bed today the truck just started sinking to the back rear, also a stock blisten shouldnt cost to much right?

    Icon Coil-overs, TC UCA, with Bilstein 5150 and Icon 3 leaf pack. 17" Moto Metal 951 4.5" Backspacing wrapped in 285/70/17 BFG AT's. Demello front bumper and Avid offroad sliders.
    No you dont need a "shock compressor". The fix is really easy all you need is a wrench set and your bottle jack.

    Take off the wheel remove the broken shock. let axle drop, put in new shock jack up the axle and install lower shock eye. Thats pretty much it.

    Your truck shouldn't sink when standing in it unless you also jacked up your leaf springs somehow.

    I sold my sock bilsteins for $30. Im sure you can find a similar deal or someone would actually give you their old ones.

    Its actually much simpler than that. No need to remove the tire or jack up the truck.
