Thumbs up on FOX 2.0s

so after installing my fox COs they were set WAY to high and rode terrible... a week went by before i got a chance to adjust them back down. well that was yesterday...and now they ride like a dream!
those plus I took off my sway bar and I just float around over dips and bumps and anything else!

I went to rockandroll offroad to check my nitrogen levels in them and fox said to have them at 200psi. allpro sent them with 60 in one and 130 in the other...

but all in all Im very happy with my new COs

Good to know you got them checked, i just got my rear icons recharged the level on them was a little off but they are both set at 200 now.

does it take a special air/nitrogen gauge to check the resis to see what psi u got?

Any type of pressure gauge will work. All most any motorcycle shop will have a nitrogen bottle. I know the place I used to work at has a couple. They might give you some funny looks when you ask them about the shocks on your truck. Or any Airgas retailer will have it. Anywhere that sells higher end welders and welding supplies usually has nitrogen, along with all their other exotic gases..... Either way, it might cost you a couple bucks to have them recharged. But deffinitely well worth doing.

great guys and they know their stuff.

before I had the toytec coil spacers and i had 3" of lift,
right now with the COs I have aprox 2.25" of lift...I need to get accurate measurements though.
Oh and by using the small spaner wrench instead of the bigger one I was able to adjust them without taking anything apart. I just put my truck on some jackstands and used a small cheater bar to get better grip/leverage and it worked great.
If anyone is on the fence about getting these COs I highly recomend them!

 

Congrats on ur c/o's ... now i just need the money. How much better do they ride than the stock suspension? like small, medium, alot. Do they do alot better on rocks and things?

nice...i noticed on my rears that are adjustable that each click makes a noticeable difference in the shock..very nice

 

I only had my truck a week before I put the toytec lift on it so Im not real sure how it rode from stock.
But the difference from the spacer lift to the COs was a night and day difference!
as for trail riding, I havent had a chance to take them offroad yet, I will this weekend though cause Im headed out to the lake!
Now I just need to put in my 3 leaf pack from wheelers to help the rear out

 

Keason if you can please tell me how many inches of thread is from the top of the main spanner ring to the bottom of the blue on the top of the shock. I just installed mine yesterday (skyjacker version) and set them to what the directions said, they are way to low.

I used the install guide from wheelers and it said the have 4" of thread showing....well that was way wrong, my truck was way high and rode like a rock falling down a cliff...
so i backed way off of them and this is what its at now.

sorry I dont have a tape at my house...haha but ill try and get a good measurement this evening. I would say its about 2.5 inches of thread or so

 

Did you make up your own stainless hose for those reservors?
