I understand that -- I am saying will you actually be able to utilize the bump stop for what it is meant to do with ALCAN's and the All pro flip kit/ Timbren bump stop before your tires eat your bedside on a 6" lift.

Hard to tell. Looks like there's a lot of distance between the bump and the frame!

I got the timbren bump stops and so far it appears they are a waste of money lol.

You should put a dab of grease on the end of them and see if you ever hit them after flexing out. :D

I just had about 400 plus pounds of ice and fish in the back...drove around like that for 2-3 days and never touched the bump stops once, but I'm sure i would hit em' if I took the truck off road with that kind of weight.

If U purchased a Stage 1 kit, you will have to rent or buy a strut/spring compressor. The stock springs / shocks have to be taken apart to add a metal & rubber spacer at the top of the coil.

Pro Comp kits require "you" to weld on the bigger bump stops.

A sawzall will be needed to cut the crossmember if you have a 4x4.

I can't remember what was the largest socket that I needed.....but I do know that the largest nut you will have to remove is the one for the hub.....size was somewhere over 1"?

Took the truck on some logging roads after 2 days of rain this week......And I found out that I still have some more trimming to do. Turned either way and full stuff at any speed over 20mph and it sounds like the fenders are ripping off. Thinking about just popping off the plastic outer fender covers all together.

it is smaller.... my fabtech lift rubbed 33/12.50/18, where as my buddy running a procomp with 35's still has his mudflaps....

Sorry for the really.... really...... really late reply... summertime with work means I have no "me" time... now that it is getting colder, all the idiots are migrating indoors for the winter
