The traction bars worked great for eliminating my take off vibration but they hit on all kinds of rocks and sh!t on the trail...so I wanna ditch them. They won't stay on with the set up I want to move to (U bolt flip kit, new bumps and Deaver leafs).

 Thanks for the info. So your 5" Deavers (with 200 lbs overstiff) still kept your rear level?

Yea, I'm level. Don't let the sig pic fool you, I'm going about 40 coming out of mud hole. There should be some pics of me sitting level in my photos. The Icons are good up to 7" but that is way to much pre load for any decent travel.

Figured this is the best place as any to post this. So my rear is lifted 4.5", and my carrier bearing failed. I had it repaired and installed a 1.5" spacer from 4crawler. And ordered my cb drop mount from beefed taco. I ordered the 2.5" drop since my lift is over 4" as per Brian's website. My question is whether I can drive my truck with a cb drop from ome with driveshaft spacer, for the time being while I wait for Brian to send me the bracket? Or will this tear up my cb again? This is my daily driver and I hate sharing my wife's vehicle. I have not installed the repaired Driveshaft with the spacer yet.

Do you have a bad vibration? I replaced my bearing for about 60$ and an hours labor in the garage but this was after I went to a solid leaf pack. I only needed about 1/2 inch spacer to get rid of my vibs.

My driveshaft actually popped out after hitting a speed bump, then chewed up the cb driving it home. Have not installed it yet, was just curious. Will pop it on tonight and see what happens I guess...

Yeah....sometimes. My next set will be the rectangle shaped 5x9 lights (100wt). Shouldn't be as much an issue with those, I hope.

Ohhh....wow! I haven't heard of this before (driveshaft being too short). A shit ton of guys on TW have the 6" lifts & nobody has brought this up before.

I would think that running a 6" lift with no CB drop bracket would damage U-joints.....eventually. You should know pretty quick because if the shafts are binding up due to the improper angles, there will be major vibrations.
