    Lies....all lies!!!!:p

    I get about 17 to 18 mpg.

When I went from home to Reno (8 hour drive) it actually did really well which was odd. I set cruise at 65 (after getting thru the mountain range) and I was prob getting 22 to 25 mpg's maybe??

Cruise control was on for probably 6 hours of the drive so that helped alot. (and this is when I had 33's) but my 35's weigh about as much as my set of 33's did so potato tomato

Shhhhh Ross! Trying not to lose anymore high rollers

gf says I drive like this...

Probably explains my decent mileage. Its no race or fast by any means so why drive it fast? Plus my truck sways like a fat chick on a roller coaster through the slightest hard turn :D

More broke stuff. My passenger side hub is going out. Time to tear out another one. I guess having 120 lb wheels isn't helping....

I found it via TW member " username ", he claims to have used one for 50,000 miles with zero issues on a very well used LT truck. It installs exactly as a reg carrier bearing would BUT I have heard that it is not silent like the rubber OE style...at this point it is worth the gamble to try it out vs paying $175 for another OE one that I know will not last. I am going to remove my axle shims, install this and a local driveline shop is going to help me find the correct carrier bearing drop height.

Step 1 is to measure your output shaft flange angle then set your pinion angle to match it. Then set your carrier bearing drop height to minimize the angles in the middle. I had a guy walk me through it at his shop today but with a 6" lift there is no way to make it truly right unless you could somehow lower your transmission :/ ...umm yeah we be what they call " outside of spec "

It is just normal wear and tear, sounds like everyone loses the drivers side bearing by 100k, I did and I have been expecting the pass side to give up the ghost any day now. I'd buy a totally new hub from one of the vendors here on TW BAMAToy I think is the guy's name. One of the guys even offers upgrades to ARP studs. Before I put my wheel spacers on I think I am going to replace both and get the ARP studs and install new rotors too, that way once the lock tight goes on the spacers I know I don't have to touch it for a looong time ;)

Since hitting the 100k mark I have had to replace pretty much every single wear and tear part on my truck ... Bearings and all bushings etc including steering rack bushings those were so cracked and smashed it was comical. I Just did all new cab mount bushings last week too, my OE bushings were so squished I had an extra full 1/4" of taco lean on the drivers side.

My driver side went out at ~60k. That was a year ago. I replaced it and put on new slotted and cross drilled rotors. I should have just replaced the passenger side as well (DOH!). I've been waiting on the passenger side to go....Here I am. Luckily I bought both hubs last year.

I just changed out the carrier bearing for the 1st time. After 110,000 miles I figured why not. The thing wasn;t bad at all:eek: I could of went even farther on it but with that changed out,u-joints all changed out, wheel bearings all changed out, I should be good to go.

Fuck....getting into 4 lo everytime I hit that mall parking lot has been good to me. Those curbs and speed bumps, soccer moms and shopping carts were pretty intimidating but stomp stomp bitches. My truck parts have held up well.:p
