What lift, want lots of advice

I have been shopping around for a while and have found to for sure stay away from a spacer lift. My question is, what lift should i get (want a 3")? I don't do a lot of off roading and nothing that the stock setup couldn't' handle, mainly getting to the lake cabin and to dad and my favorite hunting spot.

Now, I'm a 21 year old college kid that works at the Home Depot and i really don't make a lot of money. Having said that, what lift and components should i get to lift my 09 taco(3" lift kit, uca's and everything) and I want to do it right so i dont have any problems. Please tell me what you think would be the best for the money, and if you have time maybe a link or 2 so i can look at the stuff.

One more thing, I am a bit worried about doing it because I dont want to cause major problems or ruin my new truck. Any advice there would be appreciated as well.

Check out the toytec website and get a general idea of how much you might want to spend. Many of us got our stuff from there on the lift side.

Get Bilstein 5100's in the front and toytec's Add A Leaf in the back to start. Then you can get a front diff drop spacer, the second set of 5100's for the back the 1/4 spacer for the front (which will give you the 3" in front) and or maybe a shim for the rear axel to keep vibration down (assuming you get it) That may be the "cheapest" route and quickest. I used to work at Home Deepers too, you'd make good money if you work in Millworks, Contract Desk, or SPecial services. easy money to make there, or become an order puller (which I wanted to become)

^^^^^^second that motion. I put the 5100's all around with the wheelers aal and couldn't be happier with the ride and capabilities. Had the revteck spacers in at first and didn't like it. Oh, and no drivetrain vib either, guess I got lucky.

I wanted to be in millworks cuz all you do is sit at the desk and sometimes leave to help in the aisles lol. I did lumber AND builind with 2 people at any given time. we were the Sh!T but then i left and it just broke down from there. I'm Doing a space lift right now, can't quite get it going but it's getting there slowly. I'll post some pics up soon.
