    I saw "diff drop" mentioned in a couple of threads. What exactly is it & how is it factored in chosing a lift? Does it affect the warrenty?

    A diff drop is exactly what it sounds like. You "drop" the front diff during a lift so that your front axles aren't at to much of an angle prematurely destroying your cv's. You only really need it if you go above 2.5 inches of lift. It might affect your drivetrain warranty (front driveline that is).

    So if you get the 3" TOY TECH (or comparable) you need to drop it?

    I would recommend it, but not completely necessary.

    All a diff drop consists of is longer bolts and some spacers.
