Rebuildable vs Non-Rebuildable Shocks

I'm trying to decide between ICON and Toytec coilovers and wanted to get some input.

It is my understanding that ICON recommends rebuilding their shocks every 12-24 months depending on how hard you are on them. Toytec coilovers come with non-rebuildable "maintenance free" shocks, which obviously can't be rebuilt.

A couple of questions that I have:
  1. How much does it cost to have one (1) ICON shock rebuilt?
  2. How long (on average) do the 5100's that come with Toytec last before needing to replace them?

I'm trying to see what the cost of ownership is for each setup, not just the initial cost.

Thanks.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

I had about 84K miles on my last set of 5100's, and they were still good after that milage. Or so they seemed.
