Another lift question:

I'm looking to level off my truck a bit, but keep some rake for when I tow. (I don't want it to look like it did before the TSB)

I want to have good alignment, and keep as close to the factory ride as possible (being my daily driver 24 miles to work one way). I've ready too many posts from guys having issues with the 5100's set at 2.5 and 1.75, even some at .85 to want to go that route.

Keeping a small budget, here's what I am thinking of, please let me know if I'm off at all, or if you have a better solution.

OME 883's with 5100's at all four corners, fronts set at '0'. Right now, my truck sits at 35.5" for both front wheel wells (NO LEAN!), and 37.75" for the rears, after the TSB. I figure the new leaf pack is as settled as it's going to get after hauling dirt, mulch, etc as well as towing my boat all summer. I'm going to go up to BFG A/T in 265/70/17 before winter, and will do all of this at one time. Anybody running this? Any suggestions? Thanks

yeah, sounds good. you can use your stock coilsprings if you want to save a few bucks. but the OME's will ride better.

If anyone runs this setup, or has experience w/ the 883's. Everything I read is for 884's and 885's.

 

07 Access cab, 6cyl 6sp. I'd like to keep some rake, that's why I'm interested in the 883's as opposed to the 884's.
