So to do AAL on '05, I will need longer U Bolts, or will stock work?

I was planning on doing the project tomorrow, and don't have longer ones, just stock.

Will I be able to use stock, just for install, then just swap out once I get a pair of longer ones? Or will I have to do all those steps again?

Wait to do the install until you have the right parts.

If I were just to do the 2" toytech AAL on my 2006 DC prerunner TRD sport, would I need the axle shims and driveshaft carrier bearing drop kit? I heard of some people having vibrations and this would fix it. Better to do it first?

As always this write up was perfect, did mine the other day with zero issues, and it only took about 3-4 hours (of drinking) and some wrenching to finish this.

did you notice any vibrations when putting int he add a leaf compared to the block? The reason I ask is that I did the aal and get vibes but a local 4x4 shop said they install the block and never had an issue with vibes but they installed a aal in one truck and it had vibes so he went to the single driveshaft but still vibes. Come to find out the dealer had to replace his springs in the rear.

Thanks Chris for the write up.
Installed my toytec 1.5" for TSB springs today. Went pretty smooth. Your write up made it feel like I had done it before.
