Can't decide what to do! Please Help!

Ok, here it goes...

I'm looking into getting a 3" suspension lift with 33's, but my brother who has lifted many trucks, thinks I should put a 2" body lift with 32's because it would lessen how much power I would lose.

My questions is: How much power will I lose, where/when will I notice it, is there any way to get any of it back? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a good 3" suspension lift?

 

i like my 3" toytec lift, 3" spacer up front and AAL in the back.... cost was around $230

didn't loose too much power, whatever i lost, it was worth it for the ride and the looks, IMO

 

what size tires do you have on it?

 

i have 33's, 285/75/ R16

 

any rubbing issues? and whats the specs on ya rims

 

a little rubbing on the flemsy wheel well plastic, but a trimming fixed that

specs on these rims are: 16X8, 0 offset, 4.5" backspacing
