My leafs on my 1995 4x4 tacoma are flat and droopy. I have a shell and sometimes haul 1200-1500 lbs in the bed...or on a small trailer. I am thinking of geting a set of leaf springs that will raise the rear 2.5 inches but hesistate because I don't want to cause problems up front. I think I would like the way it would look but perhaps the cosmetic improvement wouldn't be worth the mechanical problems. What might happen?
I've read that some people replaced springs with regular leafs without intending to lift and got a little lift anyway. Pros and cons anybody?
