Question Anyone running Fox 2.5's in rear

after talking to a FOX representative at the pomona off road expo, he said that the fox 2.5 remote resi's are not built for stock tacoma shock mounts so i can only run 2.0's....is this true!?!?!?

If its coming from a Fox person, it might be true....more true then listening to the internet

yeah i know but i just wanted to talk to someone actually running the shocks to see what they did and verify what the representative said...i don't know for all i knew we weren't on the same page talking about 2 different shocks

Makes sense to me. Although I do not run the fox shocks, I have a pair of extended travel SAW race-runners in the rear. I'm in the process of fabing up new upper shock mounts for the rear because the shock will bottom out before the bump stop hits at this point. Not that big of a deal, but it is if you dont want to be cutting, grinding, and welding on your chassis.

Yea I talked to the guy allso on the expo but I asked him bout the front coilovers but he kept telling me to get 2.5 not 2.0 but im stll getting 2.0
