    What size tire should I get with a 3 inch lift 33's or 285's

    A 285/70/17, or 285/75/16 is a 33" tire. But they're only 11.2" wide or so compared to the 33 probably being a 12.50" width. Its up to you whether you like the look of a fatter tire or not. Ive also read that wider tires take away gas mileage a bit, but cant say if thats 100% true. I would imagine that it could be partially attributed to the 33x12.50 being heavier and therefor harder for the engine to get the tires rolling.
