2 1/2" Daystar lift
Do you need a diff drop for this?

The diff. drop is recommended on lifts greater than 2". The drop kit is rather inexpensive compared to the costly repairs that could result from the altered geometry of the front axles.

actually most recomend diff drop for 3" and over...but really with manual hubs even 3" isnt bad...if your truck has ADD hubs would recomend diff drop even at 2.5" if manual hubs I'd say dont bother had same kit on my 97 for 3 years or so with no diff drop

That's what I was originally thinking, but when I did some searches, all I came up with was the 2". I figure better safe than sorry.
