I just bought an 06 4x4 Taco sport DBL cab.. wanted to lift it a little and add some bigger tires so I purchased a pro-comp 3" kit off ebay that consists of Spacers for the front, AAL for rear and a front Diff drop kit...

The problem is I just traded in a F150 with 6" lift, 35's etc, that had tons of problems associiated with it being lifted. I bought this truck to get out of all those issues and from what I have been reading, this kit I bought mya give me issues i.e. wheel wobble, alignment, ball joints, etc...

Is this true? should I have gone a different route? Money is def an issue that influenced which kit to buy..cost me $210...Any help would be great guys. Thanks

You get what you pay for. People who have problems with their lifts are generally the ones you went the cheap route. You are gonna be paying at least $500 for a decent lift. Spacers are never a good idea. Good luck.

Im not a suspension expert by any means. Just do some searching on here and you should find a ton of information. A lot of people go with the 5100's and they love them. You may have trouble canceling an order on eBay. There is a TON of information on this sight. Just do some searching. Should get your answer. Good luck!

In my opinion yes. I'm not lifted but everyone that has done it loves it and they are cheap.

Not sure, saw TSB mentioned in a couple other threads and din't know what that stood for. Also read about a recall where toyota will change out your shocks or something???

Ok, TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) and recall are two different things. The TSB is for the harsh ride. They change shocks and leafs depending on what truck you have. It has to be done within the warranty period also. After that, you would have to pay for it. If you are going to lift then I wouldn't even bother worrying about the TSB

$350 is a good deal. The Bilsteins from Downsouth is about $283. Where are you planning on getting the AAL? There's the 2" Alcan AAL one from Toytec ~$80

might just get the AAL off ebay. Do I really need a namebrand or will a no name suffice?

Any ideas where I can get UCA's for cheap? Do i even need em?

Its funny how I used to be an expert on F150 Suspension and now that I have this Taco, its like learning all over again about what works and what doesn't! Appreciate all the help..
