A few of my friends wants to do a trip from Laughlin to barstow and I want to know if I risk breaking anything with stock UCAs. I have a 3" coil lift on it right now.

Maybe the upper ball joint. It shouldnt break, but you will tear you rubber boot that surounds it and holds the grease in.

Will it still work if that happens? I'm going to get full long travel but I dont know if I will have it by the time we do it.

It will work until the joint gets dry and breaks. You should be ok for the most part, if you drive responsibly.
