use aftermarket coils with stock shocks to lift front?

Has anyone used OME coils or Eibach coils with stock struts to lift the front of a 1st gen. Tacoma?? If so what kind of ride quality did you get?? Both can be found at Toytec...Thanks
Thomas

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

FWIW, when using lifting coils, its a good idea to replace the shocks too.

Don't think they are long enough or the valving is wrong for aftermarket spring. I would get proper shocks valved for the stiffer springs...OME springs w/ OME shocks. Plus depending on the miles...I would change them out cause you will need a spring compressor and another alignment later when you replace them. Why not do them now and get an alignment done after? The rear is no problem and much easier but the front you have to deal with a spring compressor and alignment anytime you do anything to the suspension.
