im so lost some help would be great

ok guys im a idiot at this stuff so if someone will please take the time to help me i would love it....

i have no idea what type of lift i want all i know is i want bfg km2 33's and everyone says that cant be done with only 3 inches but my buddy has a single cab tacoma with skyjacker 3 inch lift dont know what kind all i know is skyjacker suspension lift with 33 inch bfg m/t and dick cepek rims that are 16 or 17 x 10

now i don know what add a leaf is or blocks or coilover or struts or rear lift springs are i jus want 3 inches of lift with out spending tons of money and capable of being put on at the house (not by me my friend is a mechanic) i liked the toytec ultimate lift

my friend was looking under my truck and he said something bout a leveling kit that it has a rubber bushing on the coil over and he thinks a add a leaf because there is one leaf spring thicker than the rest and it curves down so if anyone would please break all this down for me i would be so thank ful cause this shit confuses the hell out of me

The ultimate lift is a good choice. The spring that is turned down is your over load leaf. You will still need to trim a little if getting the 33's.

Have you read this thread.

For your 33's a little triming will probably be needed.

A 2" AAL adds to the rear springs 1 spring arched to give 2" lift...

The shackles give lift by lowering the back of the spring 4", to give 2" lift. the blocks are exactly that. A 1.5" block under the leaf springs, and over the axel.

Blocks are bad. They break. Get an AAL. The OME lift, iirc, is a multi leaf AAL. Most 3" lifts lif the rear less, as the back is at a slight rake forward, and the kits are designed to maake the truck close to level

Your gonna rub on a lot of stuff...No telling what until they are installed. Personally, a 285/75/16 is a better size, and even at that size, your gonna have a little rub.

Your best bet is to see what other people are running, and find out what lift, tire size, etc. There are a few threads with truck pics. Search for truck pics, and see what you come up with
