5125 or 5100 in rear?

Very close to pulling the trigger on 5100s for front and have read a little about the 5125s. I know that they are longer. What could be my benefit of the 5125 vs 5100. Would I need extended brake lines if I got them?

The 5100s and 5125s don't provide lift in the rear. It's the blocks or AAL or new leaf pack that does. Whether you'd need the 5125s over the 5100s or not would depend on the amount of lift you were getting in the rear. The 5100s extend more than the factory billys, and if you are just throwing an AAL in your stock or TSB leaf pack, then the 5100s should be fine. I don't know the exact threshold where the 5125s are beneficial though.

Im planning on an AAL, and just using the 5100s in the front, but might end up putting OME springs and UCAs later down the road. I was thinking that the 5125s allowed more flex.

iirc 5125s allow for more "custom" lengths than the 5100s and can be used in no factory spec setups

Depending how high you lift the rear. I have about 2" rear lift, and the 5100's are fine. If you get 3" or so in the rear, you should get the 5125's. They are the same shock, just a little longer.

Yea, I dont plan on ever going over 3" in the rear, so I will just go with the 5100s.

Good point about the flex, personally I'm not sure on how 5100s vs 5125s would compare. I'm sure someone else will chime in with more info.

I have the 5125s because I have a shackle lift on top of the AAL. I can get a real good amount of flex out of them. I ran the stock billys before I got the shackle and it sucked. 5125s are sweet
