not happy with lift

so after having my truck lifted..procomp extended strut kit..for about a year it doesnt look liftedto me at all. ive been looking at the rcd drop bracket kit and debating between that and spindles of some sort with a new shock. any recommendation as to which setup to go with?? by the way my truck is 2wd prerunner so im pretty sure that i can use the spindle from tc/camburg..least i think so. this lift is mainly for looks mainly drive it around town. only time i take it offroad are on surf and snowboard trips

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

well ive been looking around for a while on here and have had so many different ideas. but i think ive made up my mind. ive seen alot of trucks with various 3" lifts and just running a beefy ass tire and i kinda like that. so i think imma go with camburg coilovers and maybe their ball joint ucas..dont really wanna spend like 700 on ucas if im not really gonna be running the truck off road that much. anyone know how the ride will be with the camburgs as opposed to stock???

much better than stock. you can buy sway a way coilovers as they make them for camburg. cut out the middle man. you don't have to get the uca's but it depends on how much you want to lift with the coilovers.

the thing is i need new ucas already. im running the procomp 3" kit with 285/70/17's so no matter what i need to match the height i have now to prevent rubbing but also fix my alignment.but now a new problem..looking around gives me too many bad ideas.haha i saw that cst makes a coilover that will give 3.5" of lift. might look some more into these and use those instead of the saw or camburgs with a new uca.

never heard of cst, and for 1099 for coilovers, too high. i got my sway a way 2.5 for 650. check off road engineering, they have a good selection and the guys are great down there

well i just talked to the guys from sway away and procomp. figured out why the pro comp lift is so stiff. the tech guy said that the spring rate is 718!! no wonder it rides so stiff. and after talking to the sway away guys im stoked and should be ordering a set of their 2.5 coilovers soon. and i learned something that im sure all of you guys already know. i thought that you had to adjust the coilovers to show 3" in order to achieve 3" of lift. the sway away guys said that all i would have to do is adjst them so that roughly 2.5" inches are showing on the coilover and that would in turn relate to a 3" lift.
