Question about lifts...

I don't know too much about this sorta stuff, I have the TRD Sport package on my Tacoma and I want to add a lift and put new tires on my truck. Did I waste the extra money in having a TRD Package if I'm going to put a lift on it, or are there other features you get w/ the TRD package? Sorry if I sound stupid, but I really don't know..

The TRD pkg has nothing to do with whether you can put on a lift or not. Why are you putting on a lift? Bigger tires? More clearance? We need more details.
