I stumbled upon this site while looking for any recalls on my truck leaf springs. I found some TSB's but no recall info yet. Has anyone had any luck with tsb's or heard of any recalls. My leaf springs have bottomed out from day 1. Had shocks replaced from dealer because they also failed. HELP!

The leaf springs won't be re-called. They're not a 'safety hazard'.

They will probably always remain a TSB and the work is free if you're still under the factory warrantee.

The only recall notice that I've received via Toyota, is the letter to remove the floor mats. There is talk about another recall to have the gas pedals cut - but I haven't received any official notice about that yet.

Use the search engine on the forum. Theres a tsb out to replace the leafs to accomodate the "harsh ride." if you have a non trd they also replace your shocks to billsteins. I don't know if they will replace yours unless you're under warranty still. Good luck

Thank you all that replied. I spoke with a service rep and he informed me that it will cost me something. He's seeing what toyota will do for me? I'll post my results. Thanx again.
