2" Front Leveling kit, and add a leaf's...INSTALL PRICE and THOUGHTS??

Hello all! New to this forum, so here I go!!!!Thinking seriously about adding this to my rig. I have a 3" body lift already, i just slapped some 33's on my rig and find myself wanting more height. Looking at 2" Front spring levelers and add a leafs for the back. Anyone thats had this done, what would i be looking at roughly for an install price?? I know the parts are cheap, but cant find much on any install prices. Any help is welcomed THX!

I had the toytec kit for over a year and it was pretty good. As for prices you'll have to just call around and see what shops in your area charge. If yo needed to save a little change you could do the rear youself, is very easy.

 

Any Kind really, the lad that replied on here already with a Toytec link had some that looked ok. Just a 2" level for the front and a add a leaf in back. Just wondering a ball park that most places CHARGE to do the work.

 

depends on what you have done....like if you use your stock springs and have them put on with another shock and such or a spacer they would charge more for labor than just having a complete coilover put on but the coilovers cost more to buy...alot of people do it themselves to save on the labor costs

 

Yea My initial thought was just to have the spacer put on and everything thats already there put right back on. Keep it simple, so your saying thats gonna cost more?

 

well the labor charge will since they have to take your shocks and springs apart and install the spacer and then put it all back together....with a coilover they just remove old one and put new one in...a few bolts...just will charge more for labor since it takes more time to take the shocks apart and put back together.....but it would still be alot cheaper than buying coilovers...i really don't know how much it costs...i figure between $100-$200...not sure

 

How much $$$ are u wanting to spend? Cause ur really opening up a can of worms when u alter your trucks suspension! Don't be fooled by those cheap spacer kits, they are cheap for a reason! In order to lift your truck(suspension) you are gonna hafta spend a good amount of money! That is if u want it to drive as good or better than it does stock!

 

So your saying that those spacers arent any good? I've seen lots of trucks with em and most people speak good of em. Also Add a leafs for the rear? I've seen some of your other posts in other topics related to this about not wanting a 140 dollar peice of metal lifting your truck, is this just your opinion or is there really a downside to it?

 

i think the spacers just make for a rough ride from what i've heard and are not a good idea if you plan on doing alot of offroading
