Toytec lifts for 99 TRD

Hello all, I am new to owning a Tacoma and want to add a 3" lift to my 1999 Reg Cab. I am going with Toytec as many have suggested on other posts and boards but there are so many options for under a $1000 I need some advice on picking the right parts/kit. Can any one who has installed this product let me know what you installed and your opinion how it has performed?

I would really appreciate the help as I am about to have the truck sent in for a full make-over and want to add the lift at the same time. As mentioned though I want to keep it under a grand or just over as all other cash is going into the body and paint.

What are you planning to do with your truck? Street queen? Wheeling?

 

Toytec makes a good 3 inch lift, you can do some good wheeling with it and it wont wuss out on you!

 

I think the best way to go is there front coil/rear add-a-leaf lift. Ive done alot of research and it seems to be best way to go for the price.

 

I plan on using the truck mainly for going in to plowed corn fields (hunting purposes) and driving to and from work. I would say 40% off-road and 60% gravel/highway driving.

If you are using your truck for similar purposes what works best?
